Hi, I'm Nikki!

Hi, my name is Nikki, and I am the founder of Teaching Autism.

I have over a decade of experience specializing in the field of autism and special education, working with children aged 3-7 and adolescents aged 11-16. My dedication to developing hands-on, engaging resources and providing global support to fellow educators inspired the creation of Teaching Autism.

My passion lies in providing student-led activities that promote independence and cater to each student's unique abilities and needs. I am committed to helping my students achieve their fullest potential and reach their goals in a supportive and tailored manner.

I firmly believe in the philosophy of "less stress, more success." This helped me to consider the development of Teaching Autism. Here I offer top-quality resources and activities designed to seamlessly integrate into your classroom or learning environment, alleviating the pressures on educators.

My innovative and creative approach to teaching has earned me an outstanding reputation among schools worldwide. From organizing a pretend wedding in an actual venue to explore the British Royal Wedding, to setting up monthly crime scene transformations, my unique teaching methods have captivated students and ignited their passion for learning.

On top of my qualifications, I have also received training in;
